I have read and loved all the Highland Garden series. Gregor and Emily's story was fanfreakentastic! I never want to go into details on reviews because I hate when I read a review that gives way to much information and spoils the book for me. I enjoyed the print version of a story that gripped me from the beginning when the heroine, Emily, searches for two children she is supposed to be babysitting in present-day North Carolina. Boys will be boys, and they head to a forbidden fairy mound behind the local garden center. One boy disappears in an odd mist, and when the other boy pushes Emily, she falls through the mist as well. Found by the unlikely hero, Gregor, after he nearly kills her while hunting a white stag, I enjoyed how they spent most of the book denying their feelings, even when forced to marry. The book’s pace was fast and kept me turning pages late into the night. I enjoyed how the story flashed from the Blue Ridge Mountains to ancient Scotland, and how each character handled the problems that arose
If you enjoy paranormal romance with Highlanders, scheming pixies, a mischievous brownie, magic and adventure, then this time travel romance, Just Within a Highland Mist, by Dawn Marie Hamilton, will be perfect for you. I am a huge fan of this author’s Highland Gardens series! This author is a wonderful writer and I have to say that she really pleased me again! It's a short novella, but it’s really lots of fun to read!
It tells the story of Gregor and Emily, two passionate and caring souls, caught in a Scottish adventure filled with action, danger, magic and romance. During some scenes, boy do we feel the passion between these two charming characters!
I strongly recommend Just Within a Highland Mist! This author is so talented that she got me pulled, again, into this lovely love story, that I'm sure, will please her readers of Scottish romances.
Great characters, intriguing plot and perfect setting, making, Just Within a Highland Mist, a MUST to read! Again, Ms. Hamilton did not disappoint me!

This is the first book I just read by this Author. I really enjoyed it very much. Time travel is my favourite kind of stories. I highly recommend all her books to everyone who loves time travel and Scotland. Diana Romano
